Problems and Countermeasures in the Targeted Poverty Alleviation with Rural E-commerce in the#br# Tibet Autonomous Region#br#

Abstract: Since the Reform and Opening Up, the problem of food and clothing for hundreds of millions of poor people has been
solved in China. However, in the Tibet Autonomous Region, a concentrated destitute area, the poverty alleviation situation is still
serious. It remains arduous to win the battle of poverty alleviation by 2020. Today, poverty alleviation with E-commerce is not only
listed as one of the ten major targeted poverty alleviation projects by the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, but is also an
important direction for poverty alleviation in the Tibet Autonomous Region. This paper clarifies the main models of targeted poverty
alleviation with rural E-commerce, analyzes the principal steps of the E-commerce poverty alleviation in the Tibet Autonomous
Region, explores relevant problems, and finally puts forward some countermeasures according to the unique features of the Tibet
Autonomous Region.
